Kanon Deluna, profile

A note before I start - the template for this profile was taken from www.otakusenshi.com, and modified to suit the needs of the fandom I'm working with.

Also, if anyone that just so happens to read this is familiar with "The Marauder's Misery" series posted on fanfiction.net by tombraider 3 and sees a similiarity between this character and Sarah Deluna, this is not a coincidence. The Marauder's Misery was originally based on an rp, and Sarah (then Hotaru) was my character. The basis is the same, so there are bound to be similarities. I promise I didn't steal her is essentially what I'm saying. However, I'm not as awesome as tombraider so don't be expecting a 80,000 word novel from me. Also, if you haven't heard of the series you should read it because it's good. I will say, however, that the concept originated before book 5 was out so there are some discrepencies between the stories and books 5, 6, and 7.

Anyway, here we go. Also, I don't own this stuff for serious. Disclaimers ftw.

She likes to pull pranks, and nearly always gets away with them because people never suspect her. She seems mysterious, but she is a really sweet girl. However, sometimes she has severe mood swings that she doesn’t understand. During these mood swings she can range from being weepy to being cold, calculating, and downright terrifying. These moods can affect her friends and schoolwork, and she spends weeks afterward trying to figure out what went wrong and getting people to not act awkward around her. While she is comfortable around girls, she gets extremely nervous around guys – especially the ones she likes.

Personal History:
In essence, Kanon was an experiment. Her parents were both carriers of a rare gene of the wizarding world. If the gene is prominent, it causes the person to have great power associated with the stars ranging from premonition to incredibly powerful spellcasting. However the individual is often very unstable and easily influenced, and often not able to control their own power. Both of Kanon’s parents were carriers of this gene. Her mother was a Japanese sorceress and her father a Spanish wizard. Dark wizards scoured the world for a pair like them, and once they found them they put the two under the imperious curse in order to force them to have a child. When she was born, her parents realized what had happened and went into hiding together with their daughter – though they knew each other not at all. They felt sorry for the little girl, and grew to love her dearly. They eventually came to care for each other, though they never got over the awkward nature of their relationship. Her mother had a prophecy about her daughter, and so they removed her from Europe, where the dark wizards were from, and to the US. Kanon grew up oblivious to her gifts, until one of the dark wizards caught her and explained it to her…terrifying the then 9 year old girl. Aware of her gifts, she began experiencing wild mood swings every once in a while. When she turned 10, her parents decided they wouldn’t be safe anywhere…until they heard of Hogwarts. They moved to England in time for Kanon to start school there. When she got to school, she was sorted into Gryffindor – along with Lily Evans and her new best friend Faith Sloom. They became the 3 musketeers of their year, and many people – much to their chagrin – called them the female counterpart to the marauders. Although Kanon denied it vehemently, she almost immediately developed a crush on Remus Lupin.
